Windblown Memories

Windblown Memories - The landscape of a coastal town

Built on the back of the Industrial Revolution and the arrival of the railways, Britain’s seaside resorts reached their peak in popularity during the 1950’s. With the growth of regular flights to warmer climates and the inclusive package holiday, saw the slow demise of the British seaside resort. Now these destinations are trying to reinvent themselves, by building on nostalgia from memories of childhood breaks, which hold a special place in many people’s hearts.

A selection of this work is now available as a book direct from online publisher Blurb.
